I bought this to replace an original bubble umbrella, and I have to say it isnt as well made. The clasp to open the umbrella is located too high, so when you need to open it you have to stick your hand up and under the clear plastic part to find it. The clasp is generally not very fluid, and tends to stick (so when you are standing in the pouring rain you have to spend those extra seconds fiddling with it).

Great umbrella at a reasonable price.

This is my third time purchasing this umbrella, the first was back in 2008 (not sure where from) I smashed the umbrella in my car door and cracked the rod in the middle. The second was a couple years ago from target, not sure how but one of the metal rods that makes/connects to the dome shape broke on one side. It was hard to open the umbrella after that and that side would always blow inward in the wind. The first two were completely sturdy, the plastic was hard unlike this one where the plastic is thin and cheap the whole umbrella blows in the wind and instead of metal rods connecting to the dome, they are plastic. Not constructed the same. So disappointed in Totes.

Got this as a gift and I love it! So cute! Only thing: not as great if youre wearing a backpack or want to fit multiple people under your umbrella, but otherwise its perfect for just me :)

I live in sunny California, and Ive had to use this umbrella only around a dozen times (because, California). However, when I was opening it as I was getting out of my car this morning, the umbrella completely gave way! One of the spokes bent and two of them snapped off. The aluminum spokes are obviously low quality and not built to last. I was drenched because I had to walk with just half an umbrella left!!

These are spectacular. I never knew just standing in the rain could be so fun and peaceful. Every kid should definitely have this and adults could really save on therapy with one of these. I feel like this is one of those items that you need to have to enjoy life to the fullest.
