Womens Cotton Grand Weekender Travel Bag

Ive been using Vera bags for several years (and I enjoy them so much Im annoyed with myself for taking so long to start collecting them!), but this is my first Grand Weekender. I can see now why this bag has such a strong following. Its just about perfect. It holds a TON (nearly as much as the large duffel, which is also a favorite) while remaining organized and not becoming just a bottomless pit. Bag doesnt have a lot of weight of its own, but is strong with metal fittings. Included shoulder strap and trolley sleeve make it easy to tote. (Although, Ill note that this bag is large enough that it will hold as much and a small spinner bag and might be a little top heavy if you stack it on top of one and thus topple it.) The more I look at the butterfly print, the more I like it! The recycled cotton is soft and feels very much like the classic cotton. 1000% recommend! Now I need more grand weekenders!!!!

The bag i received was wrapped in a plastic bag as expected. Upon unwrapping i was immediately hit with a powerful chemical smell and the material is damp. The smell was similar to a cleaning detergent kind of smell- who know what it actually is. Greatly disappointed in the purchase. I expected more from this brand and for the price point.

Love it, used it over the weekend and it was perfect

The bag is the perfect size for a weekend+. I used it for a four day extended weekend trip and had room for everything I needed. There are inside and outside pockets for small items and a detachable shoulder strap. I was pleased with the quality of the fabric and construction. I should note that I generally travel by car and my bags are gently used. This is a soft sided bag and the contents could be crushed.

This Vera Bradley Womens Recycled Cotton Grand Weekender Travel Bag is a dream come true if you are looking for a rather large back that is really light but can hold a lot of stuff. The main compartment is very large and can hold far more than just a weekend load for sure, more like a month. The shoulder Strap is very soft on my shoulder and super duper comfortable.

Bought this for a teenager and she really loves it. Super cute pattern and large enough for all her stuff. Great for weekend getaways.

Very well made bag, lots of inside abd outside pockets. Slot on outside to fit over your larger luggage rolling bag handle. Fits under seat on airplane.
