Purchased a fountain pen for my son and this will be a nice compliment for his home office.

I like this product because it blots up excess ink and prevents smears. Just be careful about ink characteristics - some inks take a while to start drying, and blotting too soon might take up more ink than you were planning, leaving a very faded image behind.

This reminds me of an era lost. I am very pleased.

This ink blotter is easy to use and it came with a little pack of extra ink blotting papers. Shipping took about a week and a half to reach me in Colorado for anyone curious. Happy and will be using this blotter for my desk at the office

I have started writing real letters and using my fountain pens. This is a beautiful blotter.

This looks lovely on my desk, and works well to blot fountain pen ink. Excellent value for this price.

I looks great, and holds the blotting paper securely, but is smaller than anticipated. It can blot an address or a greeting card, but it far to small to use on a letter. Also, the pieces of blotter paper that are sold on Amazon as implied replacements for the paper on this blotter are too narrow.
