It worked well until my radio took a crap after 3 weeks of use.

Very well made. Would be excellent for stacking radios. It would not work with my old Cobra 25, but that was my fault. I assumed there was a standard width. This is not the case. Again my error. My radio was much too narrow to be compatible. A Cobra 29 or similar radio would fit perfectly. Buy with confidence, just double check the measurements.

Nice and rigid. I use these with washers and spacers to prevent separation of the sound board from the main board. Flimsy brackets damage your radio over time. This one will not if you do what I did and put proper spacers between your radio and the bracket. Im including my installed photo in my peterbilt 379. Ive included photos to show the position in my truck. The second photo shows the nylon spacer I used to compensate for the width of the bracket. I also have a Bluetooth speaker velcroed to the top of my CB and some stuff hanging there. The bracket is tall enough to put in more than one radio, and also great if you have an external meter or anything else you want up there.

There are a few reviews on here of people receiving the DXXX instead of the DXX. The same thing just happened to me - so apparently this company has not fixed the problem. It is a very nice bracket though, I guess I will have to take a Dremel to it, to knock off three or four inches.
