To be honest, I didn’t expect much from this due to the price. However, reading the reviews and looking at the pictures and videos of other people convinced me. This… blew… my mind!!!!! It makes me wonder why buy a TV if this is out there. The clarity it’s wonderful, size… all! The firestick 4k and lite (we have both, and tested it) work great on it. We even connected our nintendo switch. I was also surprised that it still looks good when there is some light around. It’s a really good size too! it’s not big and bulky. We have it sitting on a shelve above our bed, and it projects to the opposite wall as if it’s a 80+ inch TV. Btw… our room it’s pretty small, and it projects to the opposite wall entirely. I highly recommend.

Works very well at night time/ in darker place. I have been using for a week easy to setup and no issues so far. Picture quality for 720 and Hd is very good. Good sound quality for the price. Very light display in day time/ bright place and has lots of fan noise which is bit annoying if you compromise for this is good to have project.

The picture looks great as long as you have the room. There is no zoom so it has to be at the correct distance. Also your devices have to be powered so you cant use your phone. The only way my fire stick would work was if it was plugged into an outlet. Its kind of a pain in the ass to get it centered. And this picture was just us trying it out, not the permanent location. But once everything was in place in my basement it looks and works great.

I got this for a gift for my husband, however he placed in our bedroom to give me a theater wall!!! And it have great picture quality. The only issue I have and I dont think its the projector itself, but watching certain shows you have to always change the audio settings... Overall 5 stars *****

Quite honestly, I was hoping for more...This projector requires almost complete darkness. The brightness level I was led to believe I was getting is laughable. Lesson learned, I suppose.

Purchased this for Halloween movie night and Im so glad I did. You cant beat the price. Obviously more expensive projectors will be better quality, but Im not looking to spend a ton because its not something I will be using daily. Just on special fun occasions and this is perfect! Also, the sound quality was surprisingly loud. Loud enough to watch something casually if you arent in the mood to set up speakers/sound bar. Very happy with this

The quality is great! Exceeded my expectations honestly! Was looking for a projector for camping for my kiddos at night and this is perfect. The sound is perfect for this, but for other things you may need a sound bar. Very happy with my purchase

Excellent picture quality. This is just projecting on a tan wall. Had to use a Roku stick to get sound. Wish it had a brightness option. Very nice picture quality tho.

I got this projector for my bedroom, and Ive been quite impressed by the picture quality (native 720p) and brightness for the money. With a coupon, I spent about $80 for this projector, and it seems like about as good of a value as one can find in that price range. As to be expected with a projector, the fan always runs while its on. However, its not oppressively loud, and its a consistent white noise that you quickly adjust to. I connected a Chromecast and my Nintendo Switch, and I could not be happier with the purchase. YouTubeTV looks great, and there is no lag time or any noticeable issue with gaming through the projector.

Very satisfied with this purchase. I tested this against another projector I purchased at a significantly higher price point, with more features (with native 1080p), and decided to keep this one as I didnt see much difference in image quality, and this one had the basic features I needed. Add to that, THIS projector actually has color/brightness/contrast adjustment features that the other (much higher priced) projector did not. The image is resolute, and although I noticed soft focusing near the edges, I didnt find that to interfere with the movie watching experience at all. Sure, its relatively spartan in terms of features when compared to more expensive projectors (e.g. 4D keystone adjustment, wifi, bluetooth), but I wasnt much concerned with any of that as this one works just fine with the Apple TV plugged in via HDMI. You will definitely need blackout curtains (or a very darkened setting) if you want to use this during the daytime, but at night , its perfectly suitable as a crowd-pleaser--as its received praise for its image quality and playback performance, both outdoors and indoors (used with a 100 screen). I used a desktop speaker system(with subwoofer) via the 3.5mm jack (and a 15-foot 3.5mm audio cable purchased on Amazon) and the sound quality was great. I did use this with an iPhone 11 (with the Lightning to Digital AV Adapter, sold on Amazon) and although it worked relatively fine, I did notice some glitchy playback using the Amazon Prime Video App-- i attributed the glitchiness to the movie buffering, because the issue became less noticeable as the 90-minute movie reached about the halfway point. I have not tried the iPhone with any other video playback app or saved movies,, but I imagine it wouldnt be as glitchy if it were playing movie content directly stored on the iPhone device. Ive used the iPhone for photos and personal video playback and playback was smooth and resolute. AUDIO TIP FOR APPLE T.V USE.: when first playing from the Apple TV, there was no sound emitted on playback, and after researching the issue, had determined that the sound is resolved by changing the audio settings on the Apple TV device from Dolby Surround to > Stereo as this projector does not support Dolby Surround. (Apple TV Settings > Audio & Video > Dolby Digital (set to OFF) ) As a household, weve enjoyed several movie-watching experiences on this XIAOYA projector so far, and look forward to enjoying many more. For an entry-level projector with basic features, this ones a sure contender.
