These rollers are definitely quieter than my 10 year old steel rollers from a new build. The noise is drastically quieter. Time will tell how they hold during Canadian winter weather and humidity. But sounds promising.

Saw a bearing cap and some bearings on the ground beneath the car and freaked out. Turns out it was only the garage door rollers. What the heck do I do then!? How do I change them out?! After a little internet search, this was the solution. They came nicely packaged. They are a 7 ball bearing instead of a higher count but they are transparent with the bearing that’s used. I pulled the bolts out of the brackets (except the bottom one with the tension cable attached… do not disconnect that one!). The old roller slid right out and the new one went right in. For the last ones, my garage door track is held in place with 5 nuts/screws per side. I just slid the door up all the way, disconnected the track, dropped the roller just below the track and swapped out the roller. Make sure the door does not want to fall down prior to removing the track. Rollers are quiet and work nicely. They shouldn’t free spin several times like older bearings do. The lubrication in them prevents that, not the friction. This looks like my goto brand for when I need new rollers in 40 years :-)

The install was really easy. Just be sure to raise the door all the way up when you change out the bottom roller where the cable is attached and lock down the pulley. P

Awesome upgrade from the metal rollers. Purchased one set to try. Worked so nice, bought a second set for my other door immediately. Easy to install. So smooth and noise reduced. Happy Pappy!

I replaced 40 year old wheels. I have been lubricating them for the 25 years I have lived here. They were done. Wear and tear beyond reasonable life of product. I bought three sets as I have three garage doors. Using my drill driver I replaced 30 wheels. Took about an hour. Install was perfect. I measured the shaft width and shaft length carefully prior to ordering. The dog used to hear the door open and close and start barking. Now the dog doesn’t know when someone arrives and is surprised. Very very big improvement. No more spraying the wheels. Ah, who says this new century doesn’t have new and better. These are perfect.
