This product was a replacement for a previous screen which was deemed faulty upon installation. Once I installed the new LCD it worked perfectly, but in about two weeks it began not to work as it should. Pressing the Home Button on the iPad mini would activate certain buttons along with certain areas of the screen being unresponsive. I would have asked for another replacement, but in this case I doubt the third time would have been a charm. I would not recommend buying this product as it may or may not work in perfect condition.

Didn’t work, followed directions to the dot. Didn’t turn on. But my old one turned on, just is cracked.

This is not the absolute best product however the quality is very comparable to the original. Unless youve repaired a lot of these you would not be able to tell its aftermarket. Great product!

Worked fine until right after the return window closed. First a few gray lines started taking over at the the bottom of the screen. Then more and more started taking over more of the screen. Touch pad still worked but you couldnt really see the screens keypad for these lines. The the gray lines turned black and as of now, half the screen is not visable. Purchased early March and now its early May so thats how long it lasted. Update 7/6/2022. Since posting this and posting the picture, more than 75% of the screen is blocked. It’s almost as if the screen burned thru the display. Kind of like the first computers would do if you didnt turn on the screen saver.

I installed a new screen on my mini ipad 2 and discovered the lcd screen also needed to be replaced. Getting the digitizer screen off took a lot of time and patience. Next came the old lcd screen, then the heat shield and finally the cover over the connections. There were 14 miniscule screws that had to be removed then reinstalled. I received tools with my two screens but the screws are so tiny that it took a lot of time and patience but I finally got it done and now my ipad works perfectly. Not for the faint of heart.

It was working great firs 3 weeks after that become stock and won’t respond. Or won’t work correctly, it act funny

When it was professionally installed, there is a square shape that is present, like it was imprinted on the screen. I just decided to keep it because I didnt want the headache of trying to return or get a refund. So just be careful.
