So far it has worked very well. I graph the temperature and it’s been very reliable. Expensive but I sleep better with it’s reliability.

Convenient and easy to use compartment heater that does the job right in protecting your boats engine during the cold off season.

Worked as advertised. Maintained 40°-50° in my bilge during 20° weather.

5 stars all of the way around!... Lost a pump due to freeze, and a failed pump box heater. There would be no other choice

Very happy with the product and the tech support. Simple to install. Will most likely add a second one next year.

This product has high reviews for a number of reasons. First, our boat, 25 ft. Sea Ray is docked during the winter in our boat house in North Texas. We do enjoy using our boat during nice winter weather and prefer not to winterize our boat. This product is placed in the engine compartment to keep the cooling water in the engine from freezing. The heater turns on automatically when the temperature is below 40 deg F and maintains the compartment temperature high enough to prevent engine and bilge compartment. The heater is safe to use in a closed compartment where fuel vapors may be present. We do add fuel stabilizer in the winter and trim down our out drive to drain the water from the lower unit to prevent freeze damage. Very satisfied with the product which pays for itself in a year compared to on dock boat winterization services. The heater must have a continuous 110 V electrical supply to function. Very satisfied with this high quality marine grade heater.

It comes on at 40 degrees or so, and turns off at 50 or so. Not bad!!

So far the heater is working properly. Very sturdy and easy to handle. The only downside I have experienced with this is the screws that came with the product were not very reliable. The heads broke off 3 out of the 4 that came with the unit, even with a pilot hole drilled.
