Y Team Controller Adapter for Gamecube, Compatible with Nintendo Switch, Super Smash Bros Switch Gamecube Adapter for WII U/PC with 4 Port

I dont want to ding this review too badly, but I was not happy that it didnt work with my Wavebird controllers. I only own Wavebirds, so I could not test this with corded Gamecube controllers. I ended up finding a similar product that supported my controllers and returned this product. I dont understand, technologically, whats missing internally to only work with corded controllers even though the Wavebird receiver fit just fine into this. If all you have are wired controllers, this may work fine for you, but if you think you may want to try a wireless controller with this, beware.

I had received one unit and it did not work at all. Exchanged, hopeful I got a dud. The second unit will not work on Wii U or PC, but does work on Switch... although I didnt purchase for use on Switch, purchased for use on Wii U with Nintendont. If youre searching for a hub that will work with a Wii U Homebrew for GameCube games, not recommended.

Works perfectly! Soooo awesome to be able to use my GameCube controller while playing smash bros on switch. Feels like I’m back in the day!

It works with switch, but only with controllers with the “turbo” setting

The adapter worked fine on Super Smash Bros(Wii U). O my buy this if you really really want to play with GameCube controller on SSB Wii U. IT DOESNT WORK FOR ANY OTHER GAME. Other than that its an awesome thing for pro players or older players who played with GameCube controller on the SSB Wii.

Bought this to play melee online with friends and it works great. They originally bought different ones and even after some googling and messing with drivers they couldnt get them to work and both ended up buying this one which is working for them too.

Works for dolphin emulator. Under gamecube controller select standard controller then configure. Then 4 GameCube controllers should be under devices.

TLDR: works for melee. i use the slippi 18 dolphin emulator to do netplay and use 20xx and unclepunch for training. All you need to do is set it to PC mode, put your dolphin emulator controller settings to standard controller (port 1), and then change your controller bindings in dolphin. Super easy and has very good response! sometimes it’s tough to get the triggers on gc controllers to be acting proper, so make sure it says “button somethin” instead of like axis xy or whatever. Ezpz worth their money.
