This is the second power brick we have had to buy within a year, the first one I bought directly from Microsoft it was noisy right out of the box and heated up all the time. I decided to go a different route this time and I am so glad i did. This power brick is so quiet and works great. I bought a 3 year warranty with it and it was still cheaper than the Microsoft brick. I definitely recommend this product.

I had the old version of this and had gotten fed up with what sounded at times like an F1 engine drowning out my gameplay audio. I ordered this one with skepticism and felt the same skepticism again when I opened the box and saw essentially the same unit. Once I plugged it in all of my skepticism went away instantly. It is 100% silent. It mentions that a fan kicks on during gaming sessions, I still cant hear it. Its the same noise level as OE, if not better.

Bought a competitors item that was advertised as a new replacement power brick. Received a used Microsoft power brick that did not work. At all. This item was brand new / sealed in packaging. Opened and plugged in and the XBox one immediately powered up. Very satisifed.

Noise level: For what it is, it’s pretty good. The noise isn’t completely silent, but I’m not sure if you could find much better. If you’re not sitting directly in front of your screen then it’s hardly noticeable, and pretty much completely unnoticeable if you have your volume turned up slightly. One downside is that I’ve noticed that it stays on for a few minutes after you turn off your system however it’s manageable for the price and product. Sheerness?: Not 100% on what this word means but if it means the quality of the product then you’re in luck. I’ve had mine for a few months now and no problems at all with heavy usage. Even having it on playing for 10+ hours, no increase in noise, no lagging, and the actual power box doesn’t seem to reach too high of a temperature where it might be dangerous. Overall I am very pleased with how well this has held up. Value for money: Trust me, compared to all the other more expensive options out there, I think this is your best option. It’s cheaper than most others I could find and has given me plenty of value. A great option if your original power box has stopped working and would recommend this one over the more expensive options.

Compared to local stores this was half the price. Other than complaint with delivery location with usps no complaints about the product.
