> 3 dayThis furoshiki is pretty good quality, not thin or quick fading but a medium weight with a bit of texture to the weave. I suspect it will last a while, certainly in better shape than our very first, thin Daiso ones. I do not recommend the thin fabrics for regular wrapping. I had to get this as soon as I saw it--the shop printed on it reminded me very, very much of one in Nara, near the deer park and in the trees. My husband and I went in on a windy autumn day to have some kitsune udon and ginger spiced amazake. A deer kept trying to peek inside. This is one of my most favorite memories. I bought it around the 4th year anniversary of that trip, wanting to give my husband an every autumn reminder of that time. I use furoshiki over lunch containers. Originally I did this for security to ensure the lid stayed on but the habit stayed with most containers. It makes them look nicer and adds a touch of extra care for loved ones.

> 3 dayIts too small to be used to wrap my bento box. It is not silky (which I knew when I purchased it.) The Furoshiki has a slight ribbed texture which in my opinion adds to the style of this piece. I look forward to hanging it on my wall.

Greater than one weekI hang these on the wall rather than using them for wrapping, but I love the Traveling Cat series: I, my husband, and my daughter each have the full set of twelve, buying them as presents for each other over the years.
