I bought these by accident as I did not notice that they were blunts and I needed sharps but I am hanging on to them for future use. My grandson was drawn to their colors... and to be honest that may help me in the future by using each color for a similar color thread... I originally bought them to darn socks and mend a snag in a fine sweater. But the knits were too fine for blunts.

I use these bent tip needles all the time to weave in loose ends and when sewing amigurumi projects together. The bent tip is great for me when attaching parts of projects together even projects with small stitches.

I crochet, and these are great for sewing up amigurumis (stuffed animals). The little case is great, and Ive put a bunch of my other darning needles in with the ones that come in this set. I would definitely recommend.

I love the colors. Helps me to find it when I drop it on the floor. Love the bend for working with crochet projects

    Easy to thread

pros: - The bent tip helps the needle grab on to yarn to get where they need to go. - Large eyes are really easy to thread for the worsted weight acrylic yarns (think Red Heart Super Saver type) that I use. - Bright colors are easy to see. cons: - Paint starts wearing off the tip immediately and when it does that ends starts getting a little rough. - Very light weight (of course, theyre aluminum) and will bend easily if provoked. - I like to weave in long tail ends so a little lengthier needles would be nice.

I was using the plastic needles for when I need to weave my unfinished yarn ends into my project. The plastic ones were nice for awhile but I decided to try these instead and I am in love. They are very smooth so they go through yarn like butter so I am able to weave in ends very easily.

I received my darning needles and just love them. They help when sewing ends of yarn for my amigurumis. Thank you!

The coating on these make it slightly difficult to thread.
