It started out quiet when plugged in. I didnt know it would turn into a screaming banshee! I have 4 kids, 2 under 5, and the scream from this brick can be heard over all of them put together! The only upside is that it supplies the power but it is at the cost of your hearing and piece of mind! Do Not Order!

Xbox decided not to turn on anymore, purchased this and it works like an original.

It is nice and quiet. I just hope this one lasts longer than the last one I got when it failed quick. The light doesnt register a fault but it doesnt deliver power to the Xbox. I unplugged it on both ends, letting capacitors empty and reset but still didnt work. Light was on for standby but no fault.
