I bought an Autonomous desk years ago and just had the standard feet on it. I was re-organizing my home office/man cave/retreat room and moving that desk is not an easy single person job, especially if trying to move it with stuff on it! I did some research and came up with this style of caster to fit my desk (Size M8×25mm). My last reorganization involved moving everything off the desk, flipping it on its side and removing/replacing the four feet with these casters. Easy to do and a perfect fit. Locked the wheels so they wouldnt roll when I put it back upright and it worked like a charm. Now I have the ease of rolling the desk AND everything on it around the room. NOTE: If ordering for the autonomous desk you dont need the 25MM length on the threads as they wont screw in all the way. They are still very stable, they just dont screw in all the way (bottom out) and I could see if you put A LOT of leverage/weight on the desk where the threaded rod would be a weak spot.

Used these to replace some other casters. These are very strong and a very good value!

Replaced desk pads on a first generation Autonomous SmartDesk Frame. Worked well a little bit long but they fit. Comes with all kinds of extras including taps for wood and wrenches.

These caster wheels were used as replacement on my drafting table. They are a solid set of metal wheels unlike the cheap plastic casters that they manfacture used originally. I could not determine the size, so took the broken caster to Lowes and they gave me the size, but had nothing in stock, thankfully Amazon , who seems to have everything had this nice set. The price was fail, and they came with nuts and 2 wrenches, and what appear to be threads that would have gone over the original threads. Overall a nice sturdy set.

Put them on two different older ikea desks and they roll really well even on carpet the other is on tile The brakes are easy to lock and positive as in mot mushy are they locked and when desk is in place having 4 locks makes the desk solid unlike some sets that have only two brakes The wrench did not fit at all ? Not a huge deal as I reckon most getting wheels will have some kinda wrench to use but you do need a thinner wrench did not take stars away for a wrench that does not work as IMHO this price its not about the stuff that comes with it The inserts are nice to have if you want to put them into wood and they look to be decent so the package as a whole for metric stuff like Ikea is a great option So far holding up and build seems solid enough for the use

I installed these onto a propane fire pit to make it easier to move around the patio. They threaded on perfect and each wheel has a locking mechanism which is great to prevent any unwanted moving.
