Pump came with a metal and plastic coupling. The plastic got brittle with age and broke. This coupling is one heavy duty metal assembly which is easy to install and will never break. Highly recommend this product!

Amazing

I just installed this 93047 coupling on my older YJ 6-CFM pump and it is now up and running again. The old coupling was original to the pump and had a splined plastic tube setup, similar to what JB uses on their pumps, but a little longer. This new YJ coupling design uses a rubber spider in between the metal halves instead of the plastic tube and fit my pump perfectly.

For an old vacuum pump this was a huge improvement and perfect fit.

Yellow Jacket is a good product BUT when repairing a vacuum pump, you typically need both pieces shown. Unfortunately what ships is one piece, so I returned it and used a less expensive one piece plastic sleeve which fits over both drive ends. I would have preferred the metal Yellow Jacket sleeves but the plastic will last for a few years
