I can quickley figure out the thickness of metal on my Antique toro tractor I am restoring so I can buy the right meteral,

No complaints, excellent gauge.

Miked the gaps, spot on!

Nice little set. The small rectangular gauge is for steel and seems to be accurate on the few that I checked. The sizes are all correct for the gauge sizes. The double sided round gauge is for stainless steel. Note that gauge sizes for steel and stainless steel and galvanized steel are all different sizes for the same gauge. On top of that non-ferrous metals like aluminum are again different. So all different metals have different thickness for a gauge size. The round double sided gauge is for STAINLESS STEEL, and is marked correctly. It is not AWG, it is for stainless, and the small retangular gauge is for steel. Handy little set to have around to check metal thickness.

I expected a little better quaility

Not the best and the font is grey/brown and worn out. difficult to see. calipers suggest theyre accurate.

These tools are thick, and the engraved numbers and letters are easy to read.
