This kit is a piece of junk. The home button connector does not fit the original connector slot. The connector that this replacement comes with is to big and does not slide in easy as the original or as easy as my other iPad kit. Ended up shorting out my lcd screen trying to install this kit. Waste of money now I have a broken lcd screen that I have to replace now since this kit shorted mine out. Thanks a lot. Spend the extra money and buy a better kit.

Overall it works well. The iPad is in a case so the screen adhesion isn’t too big of a deal. No issues with touch response or cracking so far.

Wish the adhesives were better. I had to use my own as the one that was provided on the screen lifted after one day. Once on though, the screen worked good.

Hardest part was removing the old screen due to how badly it was damaged.The new replacement fit perfectly and was easy to install

The toughest part was removing the original screen, which was totally smashed. Clear instructions and it worked perfectly after repair.

The touchscreen has a few dead areas. It doesnt allow dragging and acts as if I let go of the screen. Cant really return it easily since I already have it installed... I even tired a few spots before gluing it down... but didnt detect this sadly. Disappointing for sure. Will give it a few more days but will probably have to take it off and return it. Then try another screen.

The screen doesnt work correctly. You have to touch it multiple times for it to register. Not sure if I just got a defective one or what the issue is. Looks ok other wise but highly disappointed that it wont work correctly

Very poor quality of this product I bought this for my son Ipad when replace it with damaged screen and now the touch screen is not working.
