I was concerned when buying this that it would come in in bad shape like the other reviews say, but it did not. It was in very good shape, does not feel cheap & works perfect for my 55 gallon tank! The fact that it opens makes it alot easier to feed our turtle now! I would recommend this top!

I ordered this screen cover for my bearded dragons 55 gallon tank. It fits perfectly and looks good. Its metal so I can sit his heating lamp right on the cover and dont have to worry about it melting or otherwise getting damaged. Plus now I dont have to worry about any of my cats getting in the tank. It arrived in perfect condition, however, I was a little worried that it may have been damaged in shipping due to the box being damaged. I think that they should definitely consider some packing material inside the box to prevent that from happening. The cover has the ability to be clamped/locked down if you purchase the clamps separately, but since I dont have kids in the house I didnt get them so I cant speak to how well that feature works. If you need a cover for your reptiles tank Id highly recommend this one. Its inexpensive and with the grates on top it allows for airflow and the UVA/UVB lighting to get through, unlike a glass or plastic cover. Its also surprisingly sturdy considering how light it is.

Love it it fits my 40 gallon breeder tank. My frogs can not get out now and it fit snug so that I do not have to worry about them pushing it up.

Great screen for our snake tank. We bought clips to secure the lid in place. This seems to be sturdy enough for our purposes.

This is a good basic item, just the type we needed, and reasonably priced. The only problem we have is that the center support is plastic, and our light hood has a fixture at the same place. It melts the center support piece.

I got it on time within three days of the order. Once I received it placed on top of my 55 gallon tank. It fits perfectly. Im so glad I bought it

The product came bent but because the metal is thin, we were able to bend it to make it fit. Overall it does what it was intended to do.

This fits well on our 20 gallon Thrive tank. The lid that came with the tank melted on the frame of the door because it was stupidly made of plastic in that section. This new lid is all metal. The hinge opening is nice and roomy so we can easily get our beardie in and out, along with all his stuff for cleaning. There is a very small gap between the front of this lid and the front of the terrarium because this lid sits on top rather than sliding into place like the original lid. It works fine for our (still growing) beardie, but a smaller lizard, snake, or spider may fit through that gap.

I bought this cover for a 50-gal tank housing collossal Hermit Crabs that our cat decided would be his mega-deluxe litter box. Even though I gave it 5 stars, my only complaint is that although the lid deters the cat, it only fits over the top. There is no way to lock it down.
