Ziploc Perfect Portions Food Storage Bag

I’ve been using these portion bags for several years! Very convenient!

Because I could not find these in a any store, I presumed they were no longer produced. I have been stocking up on them since my purchase! They are incredible for eliminating freezer burn on chicken, beef, lamb, etc.

Portion bags are Amazing

This is one of my favorite products for the freezer. One that actually works better than the description. I used to dread putting meat and fish into the freezer because of the mess of putting things in and taking things out. I do most of my shopping at membership clubs so I have to divide up the larger cuts into individual portions and putting these into individual ziploc bags. It was always messy and seemed like such a waste of plastic bags. Ziploc Perfect Portions are 7 3/4 x 11 1/4 thin, simple plastic bags. As directed, I put my hand into the bag, grab the chicken breast or ham slice or fish and turn the bag inside out so the meat is inside and my hand is now outside. You can use a twist tie but I just fold the top over unless the item is really juicy and stack or arrange them into a large freezer bag. The portion bags will not stick to each other or the freezer bag so it is easy to retrieve a single portion. The freezer bags are not even soiled so I simply reuse them when empty. There are 75 portion bags in a box. Unfortunately, the store I got them from no longer carries them so I ordered these from Amazon..

I started using these when they first came out, and I love them. There are only two of us, but I try to buy large packs of meat. Perfect portions make it so easy to freeze single portions or chicken, pork chops, even hamburger. About went nuts when all at once I couldnt find them in any of the stores around here. I even tried using sandwich bags, which didnt really work. Thankfully Amazon came through. Try them, you will love them.

This product is extremely difficult to find in grocery or big box stores. Does not appear to be a standard stocked item - why, who knows. I use these daily and they are perfect for breaking up large packages and freezing portions. Single folks always end up buying two pork chops and one goes in the freezer for another day. As always, I found what I was looking for on Amazon. Must admit, Amazon is becoming more/more my go to store for items that I need.

When we first found them in the store we we not sure if they were that helpful. There are just 2 of us and this enables us to buy meats and hamburger, hot dog buns in quantities and put them up in our freezer. Now we cant find them in local stores at all so this was extremely helpful

These are awesome. I stumbled on this product purely by accident. I thought I was buying smaller ziploc bags, but in truth, these are better! Im able to reuse my gallon freezer bags, by packing things in these smaller bags, and then putting multiple into the gallon bags to go into the freezer. I dont use twist ties with them, so if I am freezer something really icky like chicken, I tend to double bag it, squeeze the air out, and twist the top. Theyre especially nice to use when I stock up on berries and fruit from the farmers market. Im able to process the fruit and veggies quickly, and keep it all organized inside of a larger bag in my freezer without having a dozen smaller packets falling all over the place when Im digging around. My only suggestion is, if you are going to thaw something that has been packed in these, place it on a plate. The bags are thin and can be prone to tiny rips, resulting in a disgusting mess when you thaw.
