I bought this book for my son. His 5th grade class is reading it. He loves it! Great short stories inside.

Enchanting stories, kids and adults will love them. Singer was the great master.

These are short stories. They bring to mind the same magical place that Chagall painted: the shtetl. Well, for me, all his stories are brilliant and engrossing. These are not like some of his other stories that have sooo much depth. Theyre more like quips, funny stories.

Absolutely wonderful and timeless book, for adults and children alike. Every story is deeply meaningful and adorably funny. Must have treasure in any personal library.
