ZOELLER Sump Pump 1/2 hp 115V Model # M98

I use this to pump out excess water from a low spot in my yard ( I installed a sump and electrical ) I had used a 1/3 HP pump, but in jeavy rain, I couldnt keep up. The 1/2 HP is awesome! And the Zoeller pump just will not quit! Its a brute,

I always have a new one on hand, because when you need one you need its now, and the stores might be closed and or due to demand they could be out of stock because of a major storm that just went through . Always buy it forward.

The pump is high quality and was easy to install. I particularly liked the float design, which is well protected.

Zoeller is the only name in sump pumps. I had one of these for 10 years and the switch started acting up. I will buy another Zoeller pump if this new one dies. Super quiet. Easy to install.

I used this pump for an exterior residential driveway drain. The pitch of the driveway and the force of a cloud burst was no match for pumps from other manufacturers. This pump really works. I highly recommend this pump for the hard work it has provided. Its not pretty and light weight but I needed power and I got it. If your looking for a light weight, at 28 LBS I would look elsewhere. I have only owned it for 2 months so I cant speak for longevity yet. But from the way its built, its in for the long haul. I have one small concern but I think there is a reason the company chose to build it this way. The legs are made of a heavy plastic and are currently supporting the weight. I suspect they wanted to keep it under 30 LBS. However, I would be careful about placing the pump considering the weight because the legs may fracture if not handled properly. So far so good.

No more flooding does what other pumps could not. Worth the extra money.

My original 3/4hp pump died after 8 years of uninterrupted service. Even though I live in Phoenix, AZ, the pump was used daily in my basement pumping grey water into the sanitary sewer. I hope this one lasts the same.
