> 24 hourMixed feelings on this line a bulbs in general. They burn out rather quickly - I have not had one last beyond 2 months. The 50 watt bulb melted the plastic trim around the screen out of no where on my Exo Terra Terrarium. Was using the bulb without issue for over a month and smelled something burning one day. Not sure why it happened. I had also used a 75 watt bulb in the same socket/location for a few months prior with no issue. Turned it off for a few days and just used my night time bulb in the interim and then my wife said lets try it again. Its been about 2 weeks and all seems to be ok. Screen does not seem to be getting hotter than usual. Maybe it was just angled funny on that day, who knows. Otherwise the 50 watts bulbs seem to do the trick heat wise on my Anole tank. They are cheap enough that I can replace them every few months as they burn out (which they do). Lose a star because they dont last and 2 for almost burning my house down.

> 24 hourMy special-needs turtle loves this basking lamp. I like that it’s only 50 W. I have a small tank but it really does the job with the intense Rays He likes it.
