The kit got me through one job I needed it for, thats the only reason I gave it 2 stars. The center drill bit broke out, the set screw that hold it in place wont get tight enough to keep it from spinning without stripping out the allen head. Overall, buy a better quality set if you can.

I uses this on sheets of plywood and I struggle to get the 2 and 2 1/4 pieces apart. I have used it on fir and I think maple. It seems like it struggles to cut through a little bit but the maple it actually split some of it on the backside so it looks bad. Luckily I will be covering it in carpet so it wont be seen but I still had to touch it up so the carpet doesnt get cut up. Overall gets the job done but wouldnt buy it for any specialized projects or anything fancy.
