> 24 hourI purchased this transceiver for my UDM Pro and it did not work well. The uplink speed would not negotiate properly causing a limit of 1G uplink even though the negotiated speed was reported as higher (but even that was still not what it should have been). The device on the other end of the connection reported a lot of packet errors of various types and I had strange issues with the data being uploaded from the UDM. After switching out with another brand transceiver I had no issues and everything immediately worked.

> 24 hourWorked like a champ no setup no messing around plug and go! - only rated 3 stars for value as the UBNT branded transceivers are actually almost the same price so no real savings or value add

> 24 hourBought a used Intel X520-DA2 for one of my NAS devices on eBay, and until my new SFP+ switch comes I threw this RJ45 transceiver in. It was instantly detected by Synology and rated at 10Gbit using a CAT7 cable directly between my Mac Mini (with 10GbE) and the Synology. Once the switch comes, Ill move this transceiver into the switch and update this review if theres any compatibility between this 10GTek transceiver and the QNap SFP+ 10Gbit switch. Build constructions seems to be good quality, and a nice snug fit for the RJ45 connection. Inexpensive and easy to install. Cute packaging.

> 24 hourI bought these for use in a UDM Pro, TrendNet 2.5G switch, and 2G fiber service. These will not negotiate with a 2.5G switch properly and will result in reduced 1G speeds. If you need 2.5G from the UDM Pro to a switch, I suggest the Microtik S+RJ10 as I can confirm they can achieve 2G properly.

> 24 hourThese work great with the current Ubiquiti product generation. I use them with the Unifi and Edge line. Great throughput. No excessive heat.
