> 24 houri guess you get what you pay for, i ordered 2 of these and theyre both slightly undersized, one more than the other by a good 1/8inch. yikes. they should still serve their purpose, but thats not what you wanna see from mill stock. another odd thing is that the last time i ordered the tool marks on the ends indicated it was cut by a rotary blade, likely a metal cutting chop saw of sorts, this time tho it looks like some kind of hydraulic presss was used to cut through and its ugly. surface finish is fine, but all the edges are chewed up. thankfully as i mentioned these will likely serve their purpose but this is a whole other level of dont trust the factory edge, no 2 sides are square. just yuck, quality has dropped here, shop elsewhere

> 24 hourDrilled a bunch of holes and used these as extension plates for a camper, to be able to squeeze the truck in better. They are strong and the dimensions were accurate. No burrs. A better price would have meant I purchased more. Still a little on the high side, but after searching Lowes/Home depot with no luck, made sense to go this route.

> 24 hourExcellent stock, machines wonderfully Even though its advertised in imperial units, its actually metric so its slightly off from imperial, but I do all my designing and machining in metric, so this is a big win for me If for some reason you need to use every thou, then keep in mind this was 6mm thick, which is about 2-3 sheets of paper thinner than 1/4th of an inch

> 24 hourThis worked great to add very strong plates to secure my boats stanchions and cleats. Easy to cut and shape.

> 24 hourI needed just a small piece it fit the bill. Inexpensive enough. It did arrive in real good condition, smooth enough. Shear cut from sheet material.

> 24 hourI needed 6.35mm for my mechanical part, that 0.3mm difference is important. Most verbiage in the description and one answer in the questions all indicated 1/4 (6.35mm); one text image in a picture indicated 6mm. The width was 5.91; the length 11.91 which were both the listed tolerances. The length and width were not critical to my application (just the thickness which was 6.05mm). It is a beautiful piece of aluminum, extremely flat, and well packaged.

> 24 hourThe price is good with free shipping. Amazon prime makes these cheaper than anyone online. I used them to make bracket braces for a Garmin 126sv on a tall mount. Cut them in half with a Sawzall very easy. Matched and drilled my holes up. Put one on top and one underneath the front deck for support for a very tall mount for a huge fishfinder. I was worried the deck flooring wouldnt support a 26 inch tall mount. These worked great to reinforce the deck flooring.

> 24 hourThe width was not cut to true 6 inch dimension, closest mm. OK as I only needed 5 inches for my project. a little gummy to machine. I am not sure which version of 6160 it is.
