1/4 x 2 C360 Brass Flat BAR 12 Long Solid .250 Plate Mill Stock H02

I make custom knives and needed some brass to make a guard. Brass cut easily and shaped just the way I wanted. Added good heft to the knife and provided a nice visual balance with the other materials used. Will be purchasing more in the future.

Purchased this to make a pendant for a necklace and a few other projects. It came quickly and was the correct dimensions. It was coated in some fake yellowy coating, and the brass underneat was lighter than the pictures but it still looked great once it was done

Starting machining based on the 1/2 assumption, to square things up... As this point I realized that the material is 12mm..... unfortunately sometimes that extra .020 matters. So if you need a true half inch of material, this isnt going to work out for you. Metal itself seems ok... so it will go into the materials pile, though I am disappointed to pay a premium for something based on a deadline, and not get what I ordered.

What I was looking for

I heat rationally. Slow and to minimum temperature, mixed with my own formula of scrape metals I get fine gold. Not brass. Much more useful to me. This great stuff these men sell.
