Just want to say this is good replacement part but if your reading this review you probably already know how bad the hoover windtunnel is. At least they give you two for when the vacuum shreds the first one in 5 minutes, though that is entirely hoovers fault for opting to make the belt driver out of a dremel tool grinder attachment and not whoever makes this replacement part.

Fits and works well, if you run over stuff with the vacuum like I do- you need some extras.

I used this to replace the belt on our Hoover (belt part number 38528-033 is listed on the serial number label). The stamped ink on these belts was barely readable, and did not appear to be similar to that part number. However, it worked fine after I figured out it had to be stretched into place. I did not know that these belts stretch into place so much. When the original belt burned up and broke I compared the length of the broken belt to these and thought I had a bad product match. Scanning through these reviews, however, I learned that they have to fit tight so they dont slip off. They have to be stretched on. Armed with this info, I warmed up the belt such as you would with a balloon before blowing it up, then replaced the belt (its easier to squeeze it onto the tiny bar first, then loop the end of the brush roll in and plug it into place from there). Not too difficult. Ive only run it a few minutes since then but will update this review if it breaks or proves it deserves a worse review.

I tried aftermarket ones and they broke as soon as I would turn it on. Ordered these and it works great, hasn’t broken.
