Used 1/4” toggle bolts to mount to wall as mounting plates did not line up with studs in wall. The wide mounting plates made for sturdy installation

I thought a short rail a long the wall would assist those who are not as steady as they wonce were entering or exiting the basement entrance of the house. You cant be too cautious with precious cargo! ;-)

I wanted a hand rail for a 3 step area (as I age). This is attractive and very sturdy. Exactly what I wanted.

It looks great however I would have liked it in white, It had only one bolt hole on each end to secure the railing and I would have been more conformable if it would have had 2 for mounting purposes.

The 2 rails we purchased worked perfectly. We ordered 2 different sized to fit the work and brick column coming up the front door entry. They look beautiful and go well with the outdoor lights.

It fits perfect in our small space . Really classy looking.
