Good looking sturdy hand rail. My only gripes; it was not an Amazon prime item, so I had to pay for shipping, and the rail did not come with any mounting hardware. The silver colored bolts that you can get at the hardware store, sort of ruin the effect of the rail’s black finish. Luckily I had a couple of dark colored 1/4” x 3” bolts left over from another project. I needed to mount the rail on a stucco wall, and neither hole lined up with a stud, so I used lead cement anchors which seemed to work well. 3/24/18 update: very satisfied with this hand rail, really nice to have handhold when going up the steps. 12/12/18 update: the cement anchors I originally used to mount the handrail kept coming loose, so I removed them, and used two “Wingits” expanding anchors instead. I painted the silver color bolt head and the washer black so they would match the handrail color. So far seems very tightly attached to wall, each Wingit is rated for 300lbs so should easily handle the stresses applied to a handrail. (Note: Ideally handrails should be attached to wall studs.) Will update review if I have any more issues.

Symmetric design made this easy to install on either side of steps. Had to enlarge the holes to take standard sized lag bolt. Easily done in my shop ahead of job.

I bought this to mount in my carport. I construction worker friend was going to put it up but stated the mounts were not far enough apart to meet the studs and the wall not strong enough to hold the weight... Very disappointed.

Pretty solid good looking wall mounted rail, however, expected more from an American made steel! the rail had few scratches that chipped the rust resistance coating, which are now starting to rust. They are definitely minimal but if you are gonna use big words and take pride in what you do, you should quality control your stuff better. I bought a another wall mounted rail for half the price that has 0 scratches and rust spots and was installed 2 weeks before this one and still handling harsh weather a lot better and it was made in China! If you want to compete with China gotta rise up to the challenge and not just hide behind buzz worthy words. And no it is shipping defect, it was a manufacturing defect!

Used for handrails on our 8x3 front stoop. Very heavy and well finished. These are the real deal and go with our brick home.

It didnt come with screws/anchors as others have mentioned, but otherwise its terrific!

Our front steps never had a handrail but these fit the bill when mounted to 4 aluminum posts sleeved over a pressure treated wood post. My wife is very happy with my handiwork
