took some brute force, but got it into a 1 inch square opening. it wont be coming out easily.

Would not fit due to the fins misshapen or tearing off. I had to cut the fins off and silicone glue the plug in place. Poor quality material therefore poor quality product.

I was able to use this other than for its intended purpose, I just need a square cap/plug to cover a missing part and it served its purpose for me. It might not be an OEM part but good enough since having it as a custom part gives character lols.

It works exactly like I expected it to. No problem at all.

Ive purchased and used these caps in 1.5 square steel and 1 aluminum tubing. Good tight fit in each! MUCH cheaper here than in big box stores (if you can even find them)
