Used to scuff up a pickup bed before applying bed liner. Worked awesome and saved tons of time.

Was searching for nylon abrasive brush didnt realize till I was looking at the package that it doesnt say abrasive anywhere. Tried it and sure enough, it will clean well but it isnt abrasive.

First things first..do NOT use this brush with an angle grinder (most are 10,000+ rpm and will absolutely destroy this brush and be impossible to handle) I went out and got a cheap automotive buffer meant for buffing car paint. I got mine from Harbor Freight for $45. Buffers work great because they have variable speed settings, and they have sturdy grips to hold on to. IMPORTANT: Make sure the buffer has a 5/8 shank so that you can unscrew the buffer pad and screw on this brush. This thing cut down my sanding time by like 500% and it makes life a breeze! Dont spin it too fast! Sometimes slower speed setting the best. I sanded the bed of the truck in the attached picture in about 5 minutes tops. Absolutely worth its weight in gold. TL;DR: Buy a cheap buffer with 5/8 shank, dont use this with an angle grinder.

The great thing is no stray wires flinging off that is the norm for a wire cup brush. Works great for all sorts of shapes and items. Has a lot of bite, so it needs a variable speed grinder. Used it to clean up a frame and engine compartment prior to paint.

This thing is pretty amazing. Installed on my DeWalt polisher and quickly began removing latex paint from a wooden ramp system. After about 3.5 hours its still working. Although the efficiency had dropped off a little.

I initially bought this brush to clean and de-gloss the bed of my pickup truck before spraying in a bedliner. But i havent got to that project. I did use it on my homes fascia and trim. The paint was chipping and peeling off. Scraping off by hand was mind numbing tedious. This brush made short work of it. The brush did not dig into the wood like a wire brush i tried. The brush also was useful on cleaning/stripping a pair of swamp coolers. Buying another one for my original project. Ill report on how well it does on the truck bed. Couple of pointers: let the tool do the work. Dont force it. The bristles flare out. Use that to your advantage. No expensive grinder needed. I used an old Chicago Electric from H.F.

I needed to lightly remove some areas of stain that was peeling on my log cabin. After pressure washing, not all of the peeling stain came off so I was left with the option to wire brush. I purchased the 6 cup and purchased a cheap variable speed polisher from harbor freight. This cup will last longer than the polisher. I went over my entire building about 1500 sq ft of logs and it hardly showed any wear. I will say you definitely need a variable speed tool or this thing will most likely come apart over about 3500 rpm. I ran mine most the time around 1500rpms. Works great and gently removed the flaking stain and with more speed/pressure, sanded areas clean back to bare wood.

How did I not know this was a thing until now? This took the top layer of paint off the bed of my truck in prep for a DIY bedliner application with very little effort. The kit came with a single sanding sponge - are you kidding me. I spent about 45 minutes sanding just the front wall of the bed and then got this. The rest of the bed took me about 30 minutes, and that was doing a super thorough job. Ive used it on a couple other things since and it never clogs no matter what. Its probably already saved me well what I paid for it in what I would have spent on sandpaper.
