> 24 hourThis POE switch is a great upgrade to my home network. I still might use or find a place for my old switch, but this poe version will go well with a couple of cameras for the exterior. It really simplifies the process of installing said camera by running just a single wire, and not having (another device) dependent on wifi. The switch is plug and play, easy to setup. It is rated at gigabit, which is the max in my area, but might be a consideration for those qho have or will have faster internet available in their area; especially if this is purchased in an effort to futureproof your setup. Definitely recommended!

> 24 hour16 Channels with an auto power option for each of them to power any of your devices whether they are security cameras, wireless access points, or raspberry pi’s that operate your smart home! The switch works and is able to pass full Gigabit connections. Has 2 SFP uplink ports. Works for a whole home patch bay. Lights to indicate status per port. Server rack mount hangers if you use them. Great general home use switching. Not for the advanced user.

> 24 hour1. I like that this is rack mountable. You dont have to rack mount it, but you can 2. Its a nice case... 3. I seems to just work.. .no configurations needed 4. It seems to give about 18W per port. I have no idea what brand of switch this is. I see a model number but no brand name. That said, it does seem to work and seems to be pretty well made. For a 16 port POE switch, this is a pretty good price.

> 24 hourI have a stand-alone reolink ip camera and both an indoor and outdoor router that needed POE so I got this POE switch. This is an unmanned switch to is was pretty much plug and play for my devices to work. What I like about this switch is that it has a built in power supply instead of having to find a compatible power brick that can power your connected devices. The switch also has a fiber input or output, this is not something I’m familiar with but I guess it’s nice to have just incase. Overall the switch has been working fine so far, my devices use about 24w of power each and the switch seems to provide it just fine.

> 24 hourI wish they had POE 30 years ago when I first started doing networks! Just note, this is the standard 48v. (802.3af). Your gear should be good with 48v, but it is always a really good idea to double check. This is a standard, unmanaged, POE switch. Nothing too exciting. I personally like to use unmanaged switches whenever I can because it is just one less thing to complicate matters and they are easily replaced when necessary. (And, there is a trend Im seeing in managed switches for annual service contracts which is annoying.) This this is a small, basic, POE unmanaged switch which works the way it should. I compared this to another POE switch I had and didnt notice any difference at all in speed or packet loss. It just works. Overall, when it comes to an unmanaged switch, it just needs to work, and this does. I hope this review was helpful!

> 24 hourJust put this in to run my IP cameras and it works great! No setup needed. Fit in my rack and powered up the cameras with no problem. Note that the 2 uplink ports are SFP so if you plan to use vlan mode you will have to use a transceiver of some kind to link to your network. Im currently using one of the regular ports to uplink but ordered an SFP link cable since my main switch also has SFP ports. If the 2 uplinks were combo SFP / GB Ethernet ports it would have been 5 stars easy. As it is, it works perfect for me... but if you dont know what SFP ports are look that up before deciding to use this switch.

> 24 hourMoved our entire camera system to this & everything looks to be fine so far. Switch runs quiet. The maximum speeds are a huge advantage as well. If youre used to do corporate IT then do note that this switch doesnt have a lot of advanced configurations like one would be used to.

> 24 hourGreat little POE switch. Installed it out at the detached garage. Ran fiber to it to create a backbone network with speed back to the house. Let me expand my camera coverage as I then added several cameras by POe to the switch. This gave more coverage to the camera network which is a good thing. So its a handy little switch to expand an already existing network with. Simple and easy.
