I bought this unit for home audio receiver 9.2 channel Denon and it works great, keeping things nice and cool. The only improvement I would is a dimmer or off switch for the fan power light when it comes on as it is vey bright when you dim or turn off room lights to watch movies.

My computer cabinet is closed in the back and opens up front and I desperately needed a fan that was strong enough with front exhaust. The Aircom works perfectly. It has more oomph than some of the smaller USB-powered fans I tried, and I love that it has a sensor that automatically increases the fan speed as the cabinet gets hotter.

We live in a place where it gets very hot (90-100 degrees F) and that means my AVR (Yamaha RX-A1050) runs way too hot. I looked for a professional cooling system and once I saw the Infinity AIRCOM S10 I was convinced it will do the job. It took only 8 days from the USA to South Africa. Installing it was quick and easy. On a cooler day (77-85 degrees F) I run the fans on the slowest speed and my AVR remains at a acceptable temperature. On warmer days (90 degrees F +) I set the fans to the second speed and the AVR remains nice and cool. I really don’t see the need of putting the fans higher than this, so there is no noise disturbance. If you really want to run the fans at full speed and it is noisy just crank up the volume ;-) Good quality product that does a great job protecting my AVR and giving me peace of mind.

This thing is great at moving air, but man is it loud. When the gear gets hot and it is on automatic mode, it turns all the way to high and it is very audible even with a movie at a reasonable volume.

The unit is excellent! Easy to operate. It has 4 blowers speeds but it works so well it never goes beyond the second setting. Its silent at this level. If the music was so loud you needed the highest setting you never hear the fan over the music anyway. I very much like that it turns on by itself, adjusts itself as needed and then it shuts down automatically. It worked flawlessly right out of the box. Very attractive as well.

Ive used this companys cabinet fans for a few years now. You can actually see one of them, and the controller, in one of the pictures. They do well, however my receiver, a Marantz SR6011, still got extremely hot. Its in a front open TV stand, with 3 of clearance to the glass shelf above it. There is also a 2 gap between the glass shelf and the rear panel, allowing for some airflow upwards. But perhaps not enough for the single fan at the top to pull out.

I had made a heat shield above my amp to protest other stuff and put a fan behind everything. When I saw this I had to try it. Wow, works great. Looks good too. I hjave it set to smart and it really works. Fan speeds change as the temp changes. Ill be getting more for my otehr amps.
