I think this product is great. I has a computer fan rigged up on my AV receiver for years. I got this because it is clean looking. Works great. The only thing I would add is a way to dim the fan indicator. It’s either on bright when the fan is working or you can set the led to off. Also, the price is a little high but considering the brand, I hope that an indication of solid quality that’s lasts for a long time.

Maybe for my cabinet a different fan set could have been better If I felt like mounting in and out fans, but with my additional duct the fans on this unit never go above half speed. Without the duct, it runs on full speed because it wont get the hot air outside of the cabinet. I made the duct using foam core and duct tape.

This exactly what I was looking for and could not find. The national expert stores didnt know anything. I stumbled upon the smaller fans, which I purchased. They were too noisy, and not really meant for audio equipment, but they sent me to your website where I found the S6 and S7, both of which I purchased and am VERY HAPPY with.They are super quiet and in smart mode keep adjusting to the need for ventilation.

You will never hear it running

I bought this so I didnt have to monitor a fan for my receiver. The fans work...multiple speeds. It is supposed to change speed of the fan with detected temperature changes in the unit...it does..rarely..but my receiver runs hot I guess. That was the main reason I got this unit so it would run as needed. It cools down my receiver and satellite box great...and it is not loud unless on high..and then still not bad if you have the TV on and sound up. Built really well..metal construction. Im happy.

I wished there was a size between this and the 17 (too large for my Denon X2000 Receiver) but it does a great job of keeping the receiver cool (heat surpasses 87 degrees, which kicks the fan on quite frequently).

I purchased aS6 and it is a great product. I put it on top of my Denon X6500H which is hot to the touch after running it for a short time. Once the S6 is on, the Denon cools down and it is only slightly warm to the touch. I set the S6 at lowest speed which is the most quiet and works great. The next higher speed starts to make noise. The highest speed is very noisy. I am glad the lowest speed is quiet and works in my environment. I wish it was quiet all the way to the highest speed.? Overall a great product.
