Works great to cool my denon x3700 .. hardly have 2 inches to clearance on top of receiver and so got the rear exhaust model. Fan could be a bit quieter especially at more than 50% where it’s very audible

These fans automatically adjust the fan speed based on the temperature for the unit they are sitting on, very good response

My DirecTV receiver (I own it) has been doing strange things. It finally started over temping at I believe 128 degrees. I purchased this device and the receiver is now at 97 degrees. Easy setup. I have it set to run in smart mode. That is, fan comes on when needed and fan speed varies by receiver temperature. Normally the fans are slightly noticeable, you have to listen for them. When the room heats up to about 84 degrees because the house AC is off, the fans go in to high speed mode. You will definetly hear the fans. This does not bother me because I dont usually sit around and watch TV in a room that is 84 degrees. I wish I would have found this sooner. I dont know how many heat related problems I could have prevented in the past with this device.

Works better than expected. Cable company recently changed our boxes and the new ones run very hot. As one is in an enclosed cabinet, this unit was perfect. Very quiet and “smart”. I will be purchasing the larger unit in the near future for my Denon receiver in the same wall unit.

I live in the UK and this product isnt available directly here yet.l read about how effective these avr cooling fans were, so I went ahead and ordered the S6 model from Amazon.com on the 19 March to my absolute suprise it from the US two days later, brilliant service from Amazon. I am delighted with the performance and quality of this product it keeps my previously rather warm Denon avr 5400 to a safe cool temperature. Many thanks for solving my overheating problem.

I went with the 2 fan blower to save some money and it does a great job of cooling.

I got this for my recently restored vintage amplifier. So far this has worked great. I like the programming options which I honestly didnt realize it had. Very cool

I blew out two brand new pairs of outdoor speakers due to my receiver overheating. After replacing my receiver and purchasing this fan, I no longer have any issues with playing my music all and night at a high volume. So happy to finally put the overheating issue behind me because what I refused to do was to go without my outdoor speakers. What a journey!

If you have an equipment Closet this would be perfect. If its anywhere in the same room, pass. This thing is loud, which also means it is cooling very well. So just know that before hitting buy
