> 24 hourPerfect size, thin, fit on top of Yamaha receiver with no issue. Put it in automatic mode turns on at 88 degrees, fan speeds up only as high as needed to keep temperature down. Cannot hear it even after watching movies all day. Easy to setup, great product

> 24 hourGreat device!! Im using it to cool a home network router and switch. Running it at half speed its quiet and prevents the devices from building up heat. You will not be sorry if you buy this.

> 24 hourPurchased the 14 AC Infinity Aircom S6 because the 17 model would not fit on my entertainment stand. The Aircom is sitting on top of a Denon AVR-X6500H - which puts out some serious heat when you crank it up. I was concerned that the Aircom S6 with only two fans would be too small - but I didnt feel there any other practical options to try. I set up the Aircom S6 on Smart mode - and set the maximum fan speed to the 2nd. speed level (there are 4 speed levels total on the S6). The S6 worked better than I had hoped, BUT, there was definitely some fan noise in the quiet parts of a movie or song. Loud enough to be distracting to me. Thats not what I wanted to hear after spending some bigger dollars on the Denon X6500H for its sound. So, after 4 days, I decided to re-set the fan speed to limit it to the 1st. (lowest) speed setting. After having the Denon on steady for 6 1/2 hours (listening to music 4 hours then watching a movie for 2 1/2 hours on a 5.1 system), I turned the Denon off. To my surprise, the Denon was very cool to the touch. Terrific! I decided to see how long it would take the S6 to cool sufficiently to where it would shut itself off. I was happy to find that after only 23 minutes, the S6 cooled sufficiently to shut itself down. I am impressed with the Aircom S6 for the price paid. However, I would really like to see AC Infinity (or a friendly competitor) come out with PREMIUM 12 and 17 Aircom fans that REALLY are quiet on at least the first three fan speed settings. It would be worth a lot more to me than the price I paid for this unit to be able to buy a Premium version that does what the current Aircom S6 tires to do, but really doesnt - truly run QUIET.

> 24 hourMy old AV receiver would occasionally overheat and auto-shutdown, so i bought this after considering the space available and best direction to direct the exhaust. I adjusted it to Auto with fan speed capped to 50%, it works great, automatically kicks on when the temp rises but doesn’t get too loud to be distracting. At 75% and 100% its louder than I’d like, that’s why I settled with 50% as the sweet spot for me.

> 24 hourThis Aircom product is thee Best! Just as all of the other reviews stated, you will know immediately that you bought a quality product as it is made very well and installs effortlessly... the control panels work perfectly to your desired settings. I have 2 of these-different sizes for my TV speaker receiver and for my cable box. My setup is on a outside screened in covered porch in Florida... components can get REAL hot here and had already lost a receiver due to heat/humidity... NOT with THIS AIRCOM!!! Keeps components cool all day everyday... no overheating now to worry about even when the components are turned off, Aircom self adjusts to temps by settings. This is the Best product to get people! Works like a dream and does its job. Love it!
