AC Infinity AIRPLATE T7, Quiet Cooling Fan System 12 with Thermostat Control, for Home Theater AV Cabinets

There was a little trouble at first by a little hum in the controller. AC Infinity contacted me immediately about the problem with a bad batch of controllers, sent me a new one ASAP, and it is now very quiet. The only issue I have is that there was no return postage in the box for the bad controller I had to return, so the item actually cost $10.25 more due to the required return postage. I like the fans and controller so well that I havent questioned them about the problem yet. I may order an additional fan, so I might ask for compensation at that time.

What a BEAUTIFUL product. Seriously an elegant solution to a simple problem. Even the package display is top knotch. Very smooth, very quiet, a prefect high end addition to a custom high end cabinet.

I have to say, AC Infinty products in general are fantastic value for the money spent. I have their T9 sitting atop a Denon x6400 and what a unit that is. Smart fan control monitors things and ramps up the fans as needed to pull air through the receiver. What I wanted to do was keep the doors closed on the entertainment center, but that was impossible the way the Denon kicks out heat. Enter the T/7 and S7 combination. I installled one dual fan in each end and reversed flow on one. I also installed one in the center divider and installed the thermostat to control it all. Again, smart monitoring keeps the fans barely spinning on and off and it keeps everything perfect inside, doors closed. No, fuss, no noise, and all for just over 100 bucks. Solid quality all around. I love this company.

I am not one that normally reviews things, but I am am very impressed with this product. It looks great, is well built, and functions exactly like it should. It was easy to install. The instructions were great for programming the auto settings, but unit itself is very intuitive. I installed it about a week ago and have had no issues with overheating in the cabinet my components were in.

I purchased this because my entertainment cabinet was getting way too hot with my xbox one, receiver, and xbox 360.

Wife purchased new TV stand. that has a space for items. Purchased this fan to help vent the space where the XboxOneS is sitting. There are already vent holes, but there really is not any air movement. Purchased the airplate and controller to help with air flow. I did not mount the fan because the tv stand is made of compressed wood and did not want to risk damaging it by cutting. I have propped this against the existing vent holes and it works to keep the space cool. The fan is set to turn on when the temperature sensor reaches 85 degrees and at full speed. You can hear the fan if you list for it, but it its not loud or distracting.

This is a nice fan for an equipment rack.Simple cooling but not super powerful fan. Works well, its very easy to install and the thermostat is great. Nice kit.

Came cleanly packaged. Unit was easy to install, seems to work as expected and is quiet. Still building AV closet so have put it thru the ringer yet. But like it so far.
