This Mini PC is a perfect for heavy multitasking as the Ryzen 5 5600U provides plenty of performance not only for work tasks but you’re also able to use this for gaming which makes this ideal for playing games using a TV. For most users 16GB is plenty of memory and 500GB SSD is decent for most home/home office needs. What makes this Mini PC better than others is you have dual ethernet ports, if you plan to use this as a media server such as pairing this with a USB TV tuner stick this would be a perfect compact DVR setup.

This style of mini PC was popularized by the Intel NUC - I own two NUCs plus a GEEKDOM NUC-clone and love them. This Ace Magician mini-PC isnt in the same league, build-wise, as the NUCs or even the clone, but the configuration is the minimum I would recommend to anyone (16GB RAM, 512GB SSD). Im an Intel guy, so am not intimately familiar with the AMD lineup, but the Ryzen 5 5600U is a decent midrange processor with good integrated graphics.

Ive used this mini pc for a few weeks and am impressed with its performance. The low noise isnt too bad; however, I was concerned it would overheat.

I needed a replacement for an old desktop that had reached the end of its life.

The first trick out of the box with this Mini PC is that Ace is not Acer which makes gaming computers and laptops, which I have used over the years and would recommend for gaming and other personal or work needs.

I have a small business that specializes in destruct testing. We use Mac computers for our engineering group and Windows for the regular business side. We wanted to add a computer on a kiosk in the waiting room where customers could come in and look at films of some of our testing over the years. So, it was important to have Wireless capability for the network and for the keyboard/mouse and that the form factor be small.

This is an inexpensive upgrade for older desk tops, where you already have one or more monitors. Its very fast for routine tasks and works fine on simple games and video.

I got this and installed Arch Linux on it. My router and switch are both gigabit - however I used network bonding so I could use both interfaces using load balancing. It runs great, it does everything I want to do and I am very happy.

My principal use for this PC will be to run Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, sometimes PowerPoint, and rarely Excel; I will view websites with it, and I will stream videos and music with it. So, if youre looking for a review by a hardcore gamer or a tech-savvy critic, you need to look elsewhere.
