This PC is quite amazing, especially for the cost. It has Windows 11 on it and does not have a lag. Right now, it is handling standard work things and gaming. We are currently running Steam gaming and it works well. The system seems to have a little trouble with Oculus VR rendering, but the system works well beyond that.

My principal use for this PC will be to run Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, sometimes PowerPoint, and rarely Excel; I will view websites with it, and I will stream videos and music with it. So, if youre looking for a review by a hardcore gamer or a tech-savvy critic, you need to look elsewhere.

The Display Port does not work. The HDMI port works fine. Amazon sent a replacement the next day, the Display Port on the replacement PC does not work either.

I just bought this computer a few days ago, and it is not letting me past the point where it prompts to put a custom PIN on the computer when first setting up the PC with my wifi, Microsoft account, etc. I’m stuck at an infinite loading screen, and there’s no option to skip the PIN setup. I only put 3 stars rather than 1 star because the computer seemed fine otherwise (despite hardly using it) and perhaps I can get this issue resolved.

This is an incredible Solid State drive that has excellent speed and power. Super easy to set up.

This style of mini PC was popularized by the Intel NUC - I own two NUCs plus a GEEKDOM NUC-clone and love them. This Ace Magician mini-PC isnt in the same league, build-wise, as the NUCs or even the clone, but the configuration is the minimum I would recommend to anyone (16GB RAM, 512GB SSD). Im an Intel guy, so am not intimately familiar with the AMD lineup, but the Ryzen 5 5600U is a decent midrange processor with good integrated graphics.

Let me start this out by confessing that Im not a techie by any stretch of the imagination. So Ill leave the nuts and bolts to the more qualified. Im just a guy who cant even remember the last desktop I purchased. But I still recall the thrill of walking into a store and plunking down 2k on a Compaq that couldnt do a quarter of what this baby can.

Having two NICs, I purchased this to be a replacement PFSense firewall and proxy server. As of the begining of 2023, the hardware in this is too new for the current PFSense so, had to switch to the Dev version. This computer may seem over kill for a firewall but, with PFSense it is also a proxy server and so much more. So, if you want a PFSense firewall with this computer until PFSense 2.7 is officially released, use the Dev version.

I got this and installed Arch Linux on it. My router and switch are both gigabit - however I used network bonding so I could use both interfaces using load balancing. It runs great, it does everything I want to do and I am very happy.

Theres a nice little warning sticker on the top of the unit thats, well, confusing but seems to suggest that you should skip wireless connectivity to create a local account. This well also bypass any setup updates.
