> 3 dayBest monitor for the money. Excellent viewing angles (178 degrees), sharp text, and vivid colors. Has a very sturdy base that the monitor sits on. All in all, a very good monitor for general use. I dont play video games. So the rating for gaming does not really apply to my use of this monitor. I also like the easy access to the buttons that control the monitor.

> 3 dayI got this to replace a second smaller screen, and it sits side by side with my older Acer screen. i am amazed at the brightness and clarity. I now need to purchase a second to match as there is such a difference.

> 3 dayI use my monitors for work. Im looking at word, excel, and PowerPoint documents all day long. I purchased a large, curved monitor from another brand last year and could only use it one month because it would not sharpen the words no matter what I adjusted on the settings. I specifically looked for reviews from other working professionals to see if they mentioned sharp and clarity in their reviews before I purchased this one. This monitor is PERFECT! It tilts down a tiny bit when its connected to the base, so its meant to be put on a monitor riser on your desk to lift it up. The size is perfect. The base doesnt take up a ton of space. It was plug & play right out if the box. I didnt have to adjust any settings. My documents are sharp, clear, and in focus. No more monitor headaches from trying to read blurry docs. I highly recommend this monitor for work. I can even split screen documents and see a large portion of each. I havent had to decrease the zoom to make it fit. Im very happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayThis is one of many Acer monitors I have purchased over the years. I never cease to be amazed at the brilliance and clarity that Acer delivers for the price. The monitor itself comes packaged very nicely in full wrap styrofoam with a screen protecting layer sheet wrapped around the monitor itself. When you take it out, it weighs practically nothing, and at first you thing Ehhh on the quality. But the nice thing is that the whole front of the monitor is all screen with a very very thin black frame. Dont let the light weight fool you, this monitor is no joke amazing. The base takes a bit of practice to put together. The bottom round portion is quite thick, metal, and sturdy with a heavy duty plastic arm that offsets the monitor. After it is put together its very customizable in angle and position. Its a little tricky to make sure the monitor really clicks in to the arm that supports it. If you have to take it back apart for any reason, just be aware there are little push points you have to depress to get the stand pieces back apart. That was the only time I thought of the arm as cheap because I thought it would break was in trying to take it back apart to pack away. But it proved to be very strong and I was impressed. When it is all done, its very minimalist looking and a nice addition to the office. I am very pleased and I would purchase over and over again.

> 3 dayFirst the pluses: Ive only had this one day, but it seems pretty good for general home office purposes. Its bright (had to turn contrast and brightness down quite a bit for comfort), text is clear and easily readable. Color looks reasonably good to me right out of the box, which is a good thing as I cant immediately see a way to fine-tune colors in Standard mode. There may be a touch more green than I would like in skin tones. I also really like that this monitor has both HDMI and DVI inputs. This was one of the few monitors I could find in this size & price range that still had a DVI connector, which I need with my older video card. As to minuses: My biggest concern, is that black and dark colors get washed out more than I expected, especially if my eye level level is near the top of the screen (or higher). If I elevate the monitor so my eye level is near the bottom of the screen, the contrast and black level improves a lot...but then Im looking up at it. And the stand has no built-in height adjustment. Similarly, if my eye/head position is lined up with the left side of the screen, the black levels on the right side get washed out. So, it seems to me that this monitor, despite being IPS, is still quite sensitive to viewing angles/position. Not so much with bright colors fading out, but with the black levels rising to hazy gray. The control buttons are small and unlabeled (and on the bottom side of the bezel). Its easy to hit the wrong one when trying to make an adjustment or work through the menus. (Its ridiculous that manufacturers dont label or mark the controls, functionality should always take priority over style.) But, for a nearly 24 screen at this price, maybe I ask too much. It seems like not that long ago, a 17-19 CRT was considered a large monitor and typically would cost $300 USD or more.

> 3 dayI bought this monitor in 2019 for my second computer and after a year I mostly switched on that computer. As I mentioned above, for four years I didnt have any problems with it and I love it!

> 3 dayThis is a good basic monitor if you are going to use it for your office. I would not recommend it for gaming though.

> 3 dayBought this when my company went remote-first. Its a really nice monitor for the price. Definitely dont recommend if youre a gamer or need to use professional design software regularly - but for the average user this more than does the job. Its got a nice slim profile and its a good size. Have used it for the past two years with no problems.
