I am not one to leave reviews, but hoping I can save somebody money. I had this laptop for 1 month and a couple days before it would no longer boot up. I called Acer and without me even reading what was on my screen, the customer service rep already knew what was going on, which tells me that this is a common problem. Apparently it’s “uncommon” and the laptop I received just had a bad hard drive. I was in love with this laptop for the entire month it worked, but will absolutely not recommend this to anybody looking to purchase a laptop. I am so disappointed in this purchase.

Had this thing for 2 years completely terrible always begging for updates and when it does update it dosnt tell you after which when you try to turn it on to use the screen stays black while everything else boots up so you have to either way 5 mins for it to pop on or completely hard reset the laptop, Don’t even bother with its battery life says it’s over 5 hours in reality it’s more like 1hour and 20 mins I have to keep the damn thing plugged in 24/7 to get any use out of it don’t ever buy this save yourself the trouble and find something else

I am enjoying my new Acer. Its lighter and smaller than my old worhorse laptop which expired and went to cyber heaven recently. I looked and looked for a replacement and the one BIG caveat this time was that I had a VERY limited budget. It took a while, but I finally found this Acer...and I run a big Acer all-in-one on my desk at work...so I was confident of quality and performance. But I thought the price was too good to be true...and therefore... But when I went in to BB to inquire, although they did not stock it, the sales associate assured me that he thought this Acer would be a VERY good deal indeed...loaded with just the features I needed and nothing I didnt. Im not a gamer, so I did not need anything too packed or high end performance-wise. I would, therefore, highly recommend this unit to someone who wants excellent display, light weight, very credible performance and speed, and enough power to multi-task, etc. The price goes without saying...GREAT and very affordable for those on a modest budget.

I will take most of the blame for my feelings about this laptop. I should have done my homework before purchasing. This is more of a desktop than laptop (HUGE!!). When I upgraded to Windows 11, I thought that it would be a cinch to switch out of S mode, wrong again. When I tried to follow the instructions of various websites, I receive conflicting directions. One site, ACER, says to go to the Microsoft Store and Microsoft Office Support says, Be careful not to go to the store!
