The computer overheat and goes off for at least the next 24hrs. very frustrating situation when you have work to complete.

My son got in a week time some issues, when pressing spacebar screen glidged ( see uploaded video) and a fully charged battery lasted maximum 5 hours.

Muy rápida, solo la cubierta es de aluminio, lo demás es plástico, pero el rendimiento es de lo mejor, las bocinas tienen poco volumen, así que si requieres más, será con bocinas externas.

There were some fan and screen issues until updates were done, which included BIOS updates. Once the updates were easily done then the laptop works like a charm. The extra RAM, I7 and IRIS video makes it pretty zippy. Used by college student.

Very happy with this laptop - especially the speed.

Poor quality basically compared to the 4 yr old laptop that Google said was to old to keep servicing.

Excellent little no frills laptop that should easily handle everything sure the full scale gaming. For a general all-around laptop its small light good battery life.

Ive owned a number of Dell laptops and attempted my most recent upgrade with a Dell as well, ordering it directly from dell.com. But it arrived damaged and Dell refused to send a replacement in a timely manner, so I canceled the order, decided to look elsewhere, and ended up ordering this unit from Amazon. So far Im quite pleased with it. Seems to be equally good in every way to the Dells that Ive had in the past, but for slightly less money. My first laptop with fingerprint reader and Ill not go back to not having one - super convenient, and the reader on this unit seems to be quite responsive - the need for re-tries is rare. The verdict is still out regarding if this unit will hold up over time but it seems well-made and sturdy so my hopes are high. If it does hold up reasonably, Ill definitely look first to Acer for its ultimately replacement.

Ordered an Acer here on Amazon and it was defective, worked with Amazon tech support and then worked with Acer to try and resolve the problem, It either was just defective or the Tech support at Acer didnt know how to help me. The computer just would continue to freeze if left unattended, I would have to do a Hard Shut down and Start it again. It happened many time in the course of 3 days. I returned it to Amazone and I have received my Full Amount back on my credit card. I ordered another new computer and went with ASUS this time through Amazon with a Seller, and low and behold this computer was defective also. While workring on this brand new computer for now reason the thing would go into the BIOS mode. WHAT the heck. It should not do that. So again I called Amazon Support and we got in touch with ACER support after a couple of days and the thing still preforming the same going into BIOS, the last support persons says it is probably the Motherboard. Ok this one is being sent back right now and I am waiting for my refund money from this seller. I have documented the problem and have a case number with ACER so I should receive my refund once they get the returned computer back. Ok now I have just received my THIRD NEW COMPUTER again going with ACER as I have had them before and feel they are good. So Far So Good. It has been up and running about a week and so far no falty things happening. I will say this has not been a fun journey as I had to install my prograoms I use 3x unistall 2x from the bad computers. Restore my data from my Cloud Back up 3x which takes about 3days for each computer. Had to uninstall my data 2x which took time. So dealing with this computer stuff for over a month. I hope I am good now, maybe i can get some work done.
