I took it out of the box set it up turned on all the settings and started playing my xbox series s at 120 fps 1440p very good monitor and good quality. downside speakers aren’t loud would suggest getting some if your playing quiet games.

This monitor is great! As someone who plays FPS games like Valorant, CSGO, and etc the monitor is excellent. This colors are little off but you change that with Nvidia Control Panel. I upgraded from a 1080p 165hz display and this new monitor feels night and day. Its so much more responsive, crisp, and smooth while in games. I dont know what to say its just that good. Ive had no issues with this monitor.

I am a university student using the Acer Nitro XV272U Pbmiiprzx 27 WQHD 144Hz monitor for both completing engineering classwork and playing video games. I can sincerely say that it works beautifully for both of those things. I enjoy the amount of screen real estate, with the 27 size allowing for multiple adequately-sized windows at a time while Im using my desktop computer. The 144Hz refresh rate is super smooth and cool; the 1440p resolution is a noticeable upgrade over my previous 1080p 75Hz Acer monitor; and the brightness / color detail are more than good enough for me. When I am using my Xbox, Im able to use the 120Hz refresh rate option at a resolution of 1440p, which is again a significant upgrade over my previous monitor. To start off, I am more than satisfied with this monitor, especially being at only $300 (or $255 at the time I purchased it on prime day). It arrived the next day and in full working order. It was easy to set up and dialing down the settings is very simple. This is my first monitor, so I am not able to really compare it to other monitors. Im too used to 4k gaming to go back to 1080p, but I wanted higher framerates as well, so I concluded that 1440p was a good balance for me. Only considering this monitor, there were no dead pixels, and there is a bit of backlight bleed, but thats to be expected with IPS panels. The 144 Hz is silky smooth, though there is a bit of ghosting, but I cant really notice unless Im testing for it. The HDR works well, but not as well as my Vizio V-series 4k HDR TV. Its still better than SDR. However, I will always choose the higher framerate over slightly better HDR. Also, enabling HDR limits framerate to 120, but thats also just barely noticeable. I havent tested for input lag, but I can assure you its very low, even with HDR on. I notice very little difference in the response time with HDR on vs off. The monitor has an ultra low latency mode that sets it to 1ms. One thing that I wish this monitor had was more image settings with HDR enabled. When I turn on HDR, I cant customize the contrast or brightness or color any further to fit my preferred settings. Again, the HDR 400 works well, but I wish it was a bit better. Another strange problem I had was enabling the HDR in some games. More specifically, Fallen Order and Shadow of War. For some reason, the HDR just looks bad for both of these games. Ive adjusted picture settings in game and on my pc as best as I can and it still looks like SDR. I know it isnt the PC or the games because both of these games looked beautiful on the 4k TV I have, but not on this monitor. That being said, other games look fantastic with HDR. Destiny 2, Metro: Exodus, and others look just as amazing as they did on the TV. I dont know why this problem is happening, but its something to consider when looking at this monitor. The HDR on this monitor is hit or miss with some games. If you arent a super competitive gamer who needs the lowest possible response time, or youre on a budget, or both, this monitor will work well for you. Despite my issues with the HDR, I still think this monitor is a great deal for 1440p gaming. Of course you could surely get a better monitor for $400-500, but this is a good balance for a lightly competitive gamer on a budget. So I give it 4 stars for overall quality, but 5 stars considering its price.

Este es mi segundo monitor, la verdad de las mejores compras que hice este año es brutal el color y para juegos es de lo mejor calidad-precio lo super recomiendo llevo como 5 dias con el y para trabajar en casa como para jugar Warzone viene fenomenal a 1440p a 120 hz en ps5 los colores es lo que mas me gusto la calidad de imagen y la fluidez para el juego.

I got this monitor a few days ago and havent noticed any issues with pixels after doing screen tests. I just upgraded from a 2016 Asus 1080p monitor to this and what a difference. This new screen is a few inches bigger and there just is so much screen compared to what I came from! Less frame and more screen. Very happy with my purchase so far. Havent noticed any color issues either, right out of the box it seems pretty balanced to me, coming from my old monitor that came with very washed out colors as default.

This monitor is great for 1440p gaming. G-sync works well, and it runs up to 144Hz. Response time and input lag are minimal. Theres no perceptible motion blur. Back buttons are a bit hard to read/feel when navigating the menu. Make sure you are using the right cables! For 144Hz at 1440p, you will need at least HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2. The included monitor stand is wobbly. I have my monitor on an arm using the VESA mount. The back of the monitor is curved, which could make attaching lights or other accessories difficult. The monitor has some interesting features like Picture-in-picture if you have multiple computers. Theres also an option to have the monitor put a crosshair on your screen. I think itd be more useful if I could modify the crosshairs. The built-in options are quite bulky. Brightness and colors start to change if you are viewing this monitor at an 30-40 degree angle. The contrast ratio is mediocre, and there is some backlight bleed in dark areas of the screen. These are all expected with IPS panels. Sound: The built-in speakers try their hardest, but they sound like small speakers and I dont use them. You may want to take a minute to deactivate the Monitor speaker device in Windows so it doesnt show up on the Output list.
