Bought this for as a replacement for graphics intense CAD/CAM model rendering software. It handles the popular CAD software well! Renders patterned geometry from modeling quick. The touchpad guestures are a bit hard to master but I use an advanced mouse anyway. Fans cool this thing well and can be controlled on the fly (fully adjustable during use). Screen brightness can be a bit dark in sunlight or field conditions but resolution quality is great. THE BEST FEATURE IS SPEED! After initial setup, press power button and login screen pops up in under 3 secs...then, after login, ready to run with no lag after another 2 secs!!! Faster than my other built performance desktop machine of 5 years ago. Great machine for the price and even better price during annual discount sale times here!

Bought last year for a trip, played all my games with the only issue being that is a smaller screen which is not the laptops fault.

This computer overall is very good. It’s screen is crisp despite the protective cover and it’s overall a very smooth and powerful computer. My only hang up would be that if you are playing a graphically intense game, about five or ten minutes in, its frames will drop drastically as it hits a plateau in its heat. After about 30 seconds of this frame drop, it’ll return to normal and won’t do it again.

Can hear the fans but not obnoxiously loud, not as hot as my old laptop but only use it for home/office use.
