> 24 hourOn the left is a Gigabyte m27q. An extreme budget 1440p, 27, 170hz monitor I paid $259 last year. On the right is the Acer SB241YH sold in this listing. Its a 1080p, 23.8, 75hz monitor for $154.99. The $100 difference should be in smaller size and lack of resolution. But instead its smaller size, less resolution AND awful colors, no darks, blocky edges. Its terrible! I am not spoiled by my m27q because this Acer monitor is replacing a super cheap old 24 1080p LED ViewSonic (that died after it drank my coffee) that I used for a 3rd monitor for spreadsheets. That cheap 6 or 8 year old worn out monitor had way better colors than brand new this junk.. Acer you should be ashamed of yourself. There is no way this monitor should be sold for anything over $75-80. At the time of writing this review its back in the box for return.

> 24 hourI love the narrow bezel, the picture quality and the price was reasonable. However, the monitor stands are not height adjustable and the mounts in the back are not the standard VESA (i.e. 4x4 plate) so you cannot use an old monitor stand. So you have to buy special mounting brackets or adapters. Also it does not come with any cables (HDMI or digital monitor cable). Lastly one of my laptops does not connect. I think probably a firmware issue so I searched ACERs downloads but the file posted is corrupted and after calling ACER tech support they basically had no clue. In a nutshell I have never had so many issues with setting up monitors that should be plug and play. If I knew that I would have bought another product.

> 24 hourI got this to use as a second work monitor for my home office. This is a decent computer monitor but there are better options available for the same price that offer a lot more. First, this monitor only comes with a VGA-to-VGA cable and who needs that? It has an HDMI port but doesn’t come with the cable that everyone would use (HDMI-to-HDMI). Second, the monitor height can’t be adjusted (it can only be tilted forward and backward) and it’s pretty low to the table on the included stand so I would need to prop it up with a couple textbooks to get the screen to my desired height. Third, it doesn’t have a VESA mount option in the back so I can’t even put it up on a monitor mount to get around the lack of height adjustability. And last, it doesn’t have any built-in speakers. There are better options available at this price point that don’t have any of these issues so I’m going with one of those instead. Disappointed and would not recommend.
