Must have! Measurement 46x 48. Soft and lightweight. My two boys age 3 and 5 have been using them since they were born and they each still needs one for nap time and bedtime..!!! They fight over them every day! We bought altogether 3 sets of the animal prints (12 total). Lost some along the way. Leave one everywhere.. in cars.. at school.. upstairs.. downstairs.. They go to all the trips with us. Can never forget to pack them. Soft and durable after frequent wash over the years. No pilling. One of those items you feel you really got a good use out of. Worth the money.

Our favorite baby blankets EVER! They are so soft and the fabric is breathable! They are perfect for swaddling but are big enough to be used for toddlers as well. I got many of these for our newborn baby, when they came in my oldest son (3 years old) wanted one and it is now his favorite blanket. I love how they are very durable but lightweight. These are much bigger than most swaddled blankets which keeps the baby from pulling the swaddle apart. When I first saw the price, I was unsure if they would be worth it but they are!!! After I received the first set, I bought more! Aden+Anais classic muslin blankets are a must have!!!!

These swaddle blankets are by far my favorite, they are large enough to swaddle your newborn and use as a blanket.

First of all, I will say these are great blankets...big, breathable, cute, etc. but if youve read any of the other reviews, you already know all of that. Heres what I wished I had read before I purchased: 1. If you are like me, you have no idea what the heck muslin is. Well, as they say, its a soft breathable cotton. The best way to describe it is like a cotton gauze, much like the material used in burp cloth diapers. The exception is, this is much higher quality, making it stronger than gauze, and its only 1 ply, so its more breathable than a cloth diaper. 2. This listing is confusing, because it mixes up the wraps and the blankets. If you want the larger 47x47 wraps, then go for the ones that have $49.99 listed as the list price. If you want the smaller 42x42, then go for the ones with the list price of $34.99. 3. What is so great about these blankets? I was trying to figure out why everyone was so in love with these things, and heres what Ive deduced...these are MUCH larger than other swaddling blankets, and also much thinner. So, you can wrap your baby up in a nice tight swaddle, with the blanket wrapped completely around them and under their back and they are not too bulky. If you were to have a typical swaddling blanket of the same size, by the time you wrapped up the baby, they probably wouldnt fit in the bassinet, and their head would be 4 inches off the ground. 4. You still have to have swaddling skills. This is not like a swaddleme or sleep sack swaddler. No velcro, no magic. Personally, I am a terrible swaddler and my baby was out of this blanket in 6 minutes flat the first time I used it. But Im getting better. I have no choice, since my rather large 3 month old has outgrown all of the magical swaddling options. All in all though, a nice functional set of blankets. And I have no doubt these will still be getting tons of use while the swaddlemes have long been donated away.

I LOVE these blankets! We have twins and these are now the only blankets we use. We got rid of most of our other blankets and bought several more of these. We own about 30 now. They are very breathable a d extremely soft on our babies delicate eczema prone skin. When doubled up they are also very warm, but not too warm. We live in Arizona and it gets very hot. These blankets let me wrap them so they feel secure without overheating them. I keep several in the car to use as shade from the sun on their stroller and their car seats. Keeps the sun off their face without making them hotter.

I just had my 3rd baby. My first, no way he would allow a swaddle and slept beautifully on his back. My second, was small and only liked swaddling from her waist down so you could swaddle her with about anything. My new, adorable bundle of joy absolutely refused to sleep on his back. Initially I gave in to letting him stomach sleep so I could at least get a nap during the day but really wanted to get him to sleep on his back. Everyone said a good tight swaddle would get him to sleep on his back. I tried it and it worked, but, the second he got a little bigger, no blanket could contain this little Houdini. I was on the verge of trying one of the swaddling blankets like the Miracle Blanket but it was sooo expensive for just one blanket that functioned for just one thing. As I read reviews, I came across the Aden + Anais swaddle wraps which had 5 stars and thought, what the heck, I was going to spend that much for just one blanket. The Aden + Anais muslin swaddle wraps are hands down, the BEST blankets and totally worth the money. They are huge but at the same time, any excess you have seems to just fold away without being lumpy. They are soft, lightweight, can be easily layered and man, they hold a swaddle like nothing else. As an added bonus, they come in a variety of patterns- the jungle animals I think are the cutest. If I had it to do all over again, I never would have bought the silly flannel swaddling blankets that everyone gives you- they dont hold a swaddle and are best used as burp cloths. I would have bought the Aden + Anais swaddle wraps from the start and plan to buy a set as my go to baby gift for everyone from now on!

Aden + anais has a less expensive version of blanket, but they are made for Target etc. and are smaller and less quality. I suggest buying these more expensive muslin blankets. Its so worth it! Wish I hadnt wasted money on other receiving blankets. They are light weight and airy, it feels like youre wrapped in a cloud. I live in Hawaii where its moist and warm so these blankets are absolutely perfect. They allow your skin to breathe. The blankets are still warm when its chilly. You determine the temp of them by how many layers you use. They are large and versatile. I use them as a quick nursing cover up when its hot out and my shall is too warm. They work great as a car seat cover from the wind or sprinkle. They are also great for laying on the grass in the park for some outdoor time with baby. The designs are super cute and I wont be buying any other kind of receiving blanket and will buy them for my friends whom are expecting!

I love these. Use them for everything ranging from nursing cover, blanket, shade over the stroller or car seat, spit up cloth, change pad on the go… they are soft and beautiful. One of my must have baby items.

These are a must-have new baby item. We use them for everything - car seat blankets, burp cloths, and swaddling! They are the perfect all-around, any-time-of-year blanket to use for babies of all ages. They are probably the safest and easiest-to-use swaddling blanket (and if you dont know how to swaddle, learn how now because it is what is helping our baby sleep through the night). For us, the pre-made swaddling contraptions (SwaddleMe, Miracle Blanket, etc) dont work because our daughter is a little Houdini and can easily break out of those. However, when we use A+A blankets and wrap her securely, she is snug as a bug and falls asleep instantly. The light-weight cotton is the safest material for a baby and makes this blanket perfect for all times of year. During the cold months we are using the blankets in conjunction with a sleep sack so baby can be swaddled and also warm. These are seriously the item we have used the most during our first 5 weeks. I freak out when they all simultaneously end up in the wash, so just ordered another set. They have been well worth the money. They will also be the item that Ill be purchasing for friends expecting a new baby. I initially thought $50 for blankets was absurd, but they are worth it.
