> 3 dayThere are so many reviews for these blankets and mostly good for a great reason. They are worth 5 star!!! My son is 2.5 years old now and he still uses these blankets in conjunction with the Dream Blankets. These blankets are part blanket and part soothie for him. When he gave up his pacifier over Christmas, he began to rely more heavily on these blankets for comfort. He loves to rub his face on them. Last year, when he had ear infection, we used one blanket on him and he would rub his fingers on a piece of the blanket for comfort. As an infant, we swaddled him until he was about 6 months old and he was in the 90th percentile in size. As a mom, I have used these blankets as a impromptu changing pad, booger wipe, napkin, tummy time mat, shader for the infant car seat, and many other uses that are mentioned in other reviews. Its been so useful and practical that my mom, my sister and I have bought a pack as baby shower gifts to other new moms. We have owned the 44x44 and 47x47. I find that it is so much easier to swaddle a newborn with the 44x44 since the 47x47 is too bulky. We kept and added more 47x47 as my son got older, but we passed the 44x44 down to my nephew after he was born.

> 3 dayClassic design that is fit for a prince. Soft fabric and long lasting. By that I mean it doesnt change after you wash it. I first bought one for me & then for my baby nephew.

Greater than one weekWe have tried so many swaddle blankets out there, and these really hold up. Dont bother with the Aden and Anais lines at big box stores, these are what you want. My 3 year old still sleeps with his, and they are in great shape. Theyre perfect for summer babies, or babies who run hot. I gift them to friends and coworkers, and everyone loves them! We just bought a set for our next baby due this fall and I cant wait to wrap her in them.

> 3 dayThese are the perfect size and weight for swaddling a newborn! Get softer the more you wash and dry them. Also work as a summer weight blanket in a stroller or car seat. Or, drape one over the car seat or stroller to keep sun and bugs off baby, but let cool breezes in. Use them on the floor for tummy time, too. Very cute patterns. Wash and dry beautifully time after time. Truly a layette/newborn essential item.

> 3 dayThese blankets, plus the rocknplay, caused me to actually get enough sleep when I had a 2 year old and a newborn! I didnt want to worry about baby overheating, so I would lay this blanket in the rocknplay, then lay baby down, then wrap the blanket around him and tuck the sides in. It wasnt a true swaddle, but still kept him covered (just from the waist down), and he felt comfortably tucked in. He slept really well with this combination. I like that these arent heavy like flannel or fleece blankets, and they are not too warm. I find that they are big enough that they still cover my 3.5 year old if he wants to sleep with a light blanket. And they still look as good as new after many washings, for 2 years straight.

> 3 dayThese blankets are amazing. When you first get them, they dont seem that soft but dont fret, they will soften in the wash a little. However, I like that they are not as soft and slick as the swaddle designs. Because they are a little rougher, they dont shrink nearly as much and are easier to fold. Another benefit to the slight roughness is that your baby stays swaddled. My little one is an escape artist and would never stay swaddled in the swaddle designs but she still hasnt been able to escape a swaddle with these blankets. And the colors are wonderful! Just as bright as the picture. And they have held up to several washings a week.

> 3 dayI wearily splurged on these myself but now cannot say enough good things about these blankets, they are seriously the only ones we use and I always need at least 2 with me. They are so soft, compact, layer-able, and breathable to prevent overheating. I frequently use them as swaddling blankets, burp cloths, sun shade, a nursing cover, and a blanket for him to play/ roll on! (receiving blankets are useless, and those tummy time mats are too bulky and too small, too hot...even the muslin version of these available in babies r us and target arent the same quality... theyre 10 inches smaller than these) I was even cold in the car once and threw one on and it was perfect, but yet theyre not too hot when Im nursing and its really hot out. Its like they adjust temperature or something! I have repeatedly used these as a backdrop for photos too... they are so beautiful! The baby just looks gorgeous laying on them, loosely wrapped in them, or tightly swaddled in the adorable and tasteful prints. I have a 4 month old, and these are still an absolute necessity for naptime or bedtime. I swaddle him tight in these (hes tall and these still work perfectly!) and he drifts right off to dreamland like magic.

> 3 dayAs a new mom I was struggling when swaddling my son. He would always come out of the swaddle! I even started to say my son hated to be swaddled. Until a friend swaddled him and he slept like a baby!!!! She recommended these and it was God send. The blanket is long and light enough that made swaddling easy. Since it its so big, in a way it grows with the baby. Ive been able to swaddle him since he was 2 weeks old and continue to do it now at 4 months (but now we swaddle him with the hands outside). I also used it to cover my son from the sun when we are in the car, as a tummy time blanket and lately (apparently) as a chewing toy as my son loves to sucks on it. One of the best baby gear investments we have made.
