Do I recommend this for things like colored pencils and pens? Not really. But I do recommend it for small tech supplies you have. I have tons of USB sticks that I just slide through the pen holders. The lid compartment can only store very thin items like sticky notes or SD cards and small cables. I can easily vertically store a Logitech Pebble mouse in here as well as a few more chargers and even some earbuds, both wired and wireless. I paid about $13 USD for this, which I think is decent since I use it daily.

I didnt purchase this case for pencils or pens. I actually bought it to store all of my assorted cables, cords and earbuds for my MP3 player. Its hard to keep stuff together and there are times that as Im ready to fly out the door, (probably borderline late) it dawns on me that I need to grab my MP3 player. That is much easier now that everything is contained in one easy to grab, well organized case. No longer will I have one of those Oh cr*p moments where I suddenly realize that while I have the MP3 I dont have ear buds, or I didnt charge it and dont have the charging cable or some other, I wish Id picked THAT up too moment. The case is well made, zippers are smooth and work well. There is plenty of space inside and I really like the little zipper compartment on the lid of the case. Very handy for keeping small things contained so that they are easily retrievable. All in all, I think it is a very good product and it certainly was worth what I paid for it. I would purchase again.

I use this to keep my Sharpies in for coloring and I love it. If I get another set of markers and needed a zippered storage case, I would definitely order this one again. Would also work great for things other than markers.

My 14 y/o son needed a case to take to study hall with all possible supply needs inside & this fits the bill. It appears sturdy & holds a good selection of colored pencils, scissors, glue, etc.
