Amazon Basics 3 Speed Box Fan, 20-Inch

This fan works well and is very well made!

I bought both fan the 20 inch and 11 inch and for some reason I feel the 11 inch blows stronger than the 20 inch but both good fans are a great value too

Overall, I am disappointed in this fan. Itsimply does not have the power that our other box fans have. At its highest speed/setting, it is equal in strength to the middle setting of our other box fans. For its good features, I like the all black look - it makes the fan less conspicuous in a room. Because it is not very powerful, it is relatively quiet.

The only thing I dont know about this is how long it will last. It is ideal for my house and my weather. I dont have air conditioning and this fan keeps me cool--as cool is it can, which is fine. I like the way it looks and its settings give me the air flow I need. It may be basic but its just right.

Just your basic fan, does what it’s supposed to do. It’s not powerful even on the highest setting. The edges are curved so it’s extremely difficult to get it to sit in the window, which is why I got it. There are legs that help it stand straight but for what I need it for makes it more unstable. Overall it’s not too loud and does what it’s supposed to.

Bought it for noise during sleep for my husband. It’s lightweight which is nice, but it is really quiet. We’ll probably be returning it.

Works great

When I purchased this, I thought it would be a little deeper that it was, I prefer the older style fans that could stand on their own without feet. However, the extra-large feet are still a big improvement over the narrow fans where the feet are only slightly longer than the fans depth. The extra-long and wider feet that come with this fan, should give it more stability than most other fans with the same depth.

The air flow is low.

With five fan blades, the unit delivers cooling air equal to a Vornado, without the extra $$$. Fits most windows and works just as well as a mobile unit.
