Amazon Basics 3 Speed Box Fan, 20-Inch

The rounded edges on this fan make it very difficult to put in a window and hold there. Also since it doesnt fit well, it kept falling out of the window and eventually one of the fan blades snapped off. Would not recommend, and just get one of the boxier options instead.

Its inexpensive, and strong-I $aved alot of $$ by CREATING my OWN Air Purifier: i bought MERV-13 20 x20 x1 air filters, and BLU Painters tape (no sticky residue when removed) and TAPED the AIR FILTER to the intake side of the fan. Now not only is mt house COOLER, its EASIER TO BREATHE since the STUFF I DONT need to inhale is TRAPPED! Total cost for 3 months of healthy, moving air=552.30 (Fan $36.89, Filter $10.92, Tape $4.49) and then only $10.92 each 3 months afterwards (change to a new filter) Compare THAT to commercial purifiers--andd this is PORTABLE. # Speed AND STYLISH! I STRONGLY RECCOMMEND THIS!

The humble box fan. Its a basic unit to be sure, lightweight, plastic construction, but, it does move a fair amount of air. You get three speeds with pretty quiet operation. Attach the feet at the bottom and you are ready to go. Great for personal use in your office during summer.

I bought this particular fan based on an Amazon review. I was under the impression that it was loud, it is not loud. In fact, on the highest setting you can barely hear it. I wanted it to drown out the noise at night so that I could sleep better. If you are looking for a loud fan, this is not it.

super nice and affordable fan! the three settings are comfortable, and the black look is clean. ive had this fan for probably around 5 months or so and just recently it has started making a high pitched squeaking noice. i’m not sure if other people have had this issue but that is just my experience! it’s not too bad, just a little annoying every once in a while.

Air output is pretty good for the compact size. Its extremely light weight, but still sturdy. The noise level is almost TOO quiet if you like using one of these for white noise while you sleep like me. But overall, its a pretty good value.

Great for our garage gym!

We purchased this box fan to help circulate air conditioned air throughout our RV. On high speed we can feel it blowing air for about 14 feet. It blows almost constantly every day throughout this summer heat. It is not as noisy as metal box fans, and I do not think that its motor is quite as strong as the fans from my childhood made in the USA. However, this fan has taken some spills, run a LOT, and is doing a great job. I like that it is light weight and easily portable. You will need to attach its two feet on the bottom of the fan -- very easy to do. I do recommend this fan, and yes I would purchase it again.

Perfect for the week it actually worked. After a week it started clicking and then completely stopped working
